| Customer Reviews: Great gun for the price November 11, 2008 Emanuel Jakubov (Rego Park, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this gun, even though not the best, still is a great buy. For this price you can't get any better. It's pretty powerful shooting speed is about 400 fps (feet per second), compared to the blowback version which shoots 320 fps. It has a great feel to it, pretty heavy with the magazine locked in. Plus there are less moving parts, so less chance that something will break compared to the all metal guns. If you looking for a gun in this price range, than get it...
A Great Sidearm July 16, 2008 Bass Man (Phoenix, AZ, USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I just received mine today from UPS with super fast shipping. I had been shopping around for a cheap CO2 pistol on Amazon for a while, and this one fit the budget but upheld the requirements of quality.
I opened the cardboard box and it held some AirSplat stickers and the gun case. The gun case is black plastic, nothing I'd put stock in to drop from a high place, but the padding (egg holder pattern) within does keep the gun from jostling.
When I opened the case, it held the gun and a small pack of 100 .2g bb's. The gun itself is hefty and seems made out of metal (but isn't, its very sturdy plastic). Most of the weight is towards the top and muzzle of the gun, and even though the metal magazine and 12 gram CO2 cartridge don't offset the weight, it's not a terrible difference. Still easy on the hands.
I slid the grip back and inserted the CO2 cartridge with no problem. After screwing in the bottle with a small hiss, I was almost ready to go.
I pressed the clip release and took out the magazine. It's all metal and comes with a spring lock. There's a small hole in which to pour bb's near the center of the clip. Not a big deal.
Loaded the bb's, re-inserted the clip, and took off the safety.
This gun has a fixed slide, so there was no need to cock the gun. I turned off the safety and pulled the trigger. A good report and a quick white bb came out of the muzzle and shot a hole straight through an empty 1-gallon milk jug.
Overall, this gun has great power when full on gas. I've fired about 100 runs so far, and there is little noticeable depletion of power. As far as accuracy goes, the hop up is a bit weird and every 6th shot or so curves down.
Pros:
-Good weight and feel in the grip
-POWER
-Cosmetics
-Dead accurate up to around 50 feet
Cons:
-15 round clip on a semi-auto means your bullets run out, and quick.
-If you fire too quickly, its possible to jam the gun. The remedy for this is to slide the safety button to the safe side and hold it there while pulling the trigger.
-Has no moving slide, but thats just my preference and I can see past that with this gun.
I've enjoyed this gun immensely so far and is a tough, solid piece of handiwork. I hope you have fun with yours if you decide to purchase it.

TSD M9 Non-Blowback November 15, 2008 A. Aguero (San Antonio, Texas) Okay, great product for the price, I have purchased AEGs for about the same price and they were beyond crappy. This airsoft pistol performs quite well, used it just for some target practice .12g bbs and broke a couple of empy beer bottles. I was quite pleased with it, if I could say anything bad about it, it would be that it does have a slight tendancy to jam if you fire it too fast.
pros:
+ Semi-Auto
+ ~15 rounds
+ Solid feel
+ ~400fps
+ CO2 powered
cons:
- May jam somtimes, might want to use as side arm.
Broken November 6, 2009 Adam Russell 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this gun and it came in only a few days. I open the package, put in the CO2 cartridge, and load the BBS. It was okay with accuracy and can shoot pretty far. I was happy with the order. The next day I went to a friends house for a little war. I try to take a few practice shots and nothing happens. So I say okay, the CO2 run out, not a problem, so I take the old one out. When I tighten up the new CO2 cartridge all the gas leaks out the barrel of the gun. I try again with two more cartridges just to be safe and the same thing happens. Then comes the fun part. NOT. After over a week of e-mailing back and forth with Airspat they finally agree for me to ship it back and they'll have a look at it. I'm still waiting for the gun back or a refund. I don't know if there was just something wrong with my gun or what, but I'm not very happy with my purchase.
