I bought this to strap to my plate carrying vest. It fits well. The product description mentions two 12 gauges the scabbard was designed for. I took a gamble that it would fit my Maverick 88 and it fits like a glove. I plan on getting a pistol grip for my gun and it will fit just fine. Unfortunately there is no way to strap the gun in. It just slides in and out.
It fits well strapped to the back of my vest. The gun clears my head well. The ACU pattern looks great. The molle straps work great. The outside of the scabbard is awesome. It's the inside I have a problem with. The front sight from my 12 gauge after only a week, is starting to rip up the inside from drawing the weapon. The inside is not made out of a hard canvas material, it is some soft nylon type material. If your shotgun has a sight, I'm sure you'll have the same problem as me. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I'm not a solder and bought this as a just in case the shtf type of thing. For that purpose it is great. If I were a solder I would not carry this into battle.
