This review is for the "Condor Shotgun Scabbard ACU."
Weight: 722 grams
Length: 73.5 Centimeters
Width: Tapers from 16 cm at the top to 13 cm at the bottom
Padding is almost 1 cm thick, semi-dense material and more than adequate to protect against scratches and bangs.
Stitching is heavy duty, and reinforced.
All the straps are very customizable. They can be mounted on the left or right, except for the shoulder strap.
All clips and retainers are coated metal, and should fare well against rust.
The buckle that locks down on the pistol grip is plastic.
Two small grommets at the bottom act as drain holes and provide some circulation.
It might hang or snag if you thoughtlessly shove a gun in the scabbard, but I believe this will be the case with any soft material, in this instance the liner is a thin layer of smooth plastic or acrylic. It will tear over time if one is not mindful.
I don't believe I could find a better scabbard in this price range.
Attached to my backpack this scabbard is everything I had expected.
